AN ACR PILOT REPORTS BEING INSPECTED BY HIS ACR MANAGERS FOLLOWING A PASSENGER ACCUSATION THAT HE ADDED ALCOHOL TO COFFEE ON A PREVIOUS FLT.
Narrative
ON THE LAST DAY OF A 4 DAY TRIP; FLTS CONSISTED OF ZZZ1-ZZZ2; ZZZ2-ZZZ3; ZZZ3-ZZZ4; ZZZ4-ZZZ5. WE ARRIVED IN ZZZ4 SLIGHTLY BEHIND SCHEDULE WITH A 32 MIN TURN. THE FLT WAS FULL WITH A JUMPSEATER IN THE COCKPIT. PULLING INTO THE GATE AT ZZZ4 WE NOTICED 2 MGMNT TYPES PROCEEDING TO THE JETWAY AS IT WAS POSITIONING TO THE ACFT. BEFORE THE COCKPIT DOOR WAS EVEN OPENED; THERE WAS A KNOCK AT THE DOOR. THE 2 MGRS WAITED FOR THE JUMPSEATER TO LEAVE AND THEN BOTH SQUEEZED INTO THE COCKPIT CLOSING THE DOOR. THEY INTRODUCED THEMSELVES AND DIALED A NUMBER INTO THEIR CELL PHONE STATING THAT WE WOULD HAVE A CONFERENCE CALL WITH THE CHIEF PLT IN ZZZ4. THE CHIEF PLT STATED THAT THE 2 MGRS WERE TRAINED EVALUATORS AND THAT A RPT HAD BEEN FILED WITH THE FAA BY A PAX ON THE ZZZ2-ZZZ3 LEG THAT SAW THE FO POUR WHAT THEY THOUGHT WAS A LIQUOR MINIATURE INTO COFFEE. IMMEDIATELY; I COULD ONLY THINK OF GETTING COFFEE FOR MYSELF AND THE CAPT AT THE GATE IN ZZZ2. I PUT CREAMERS IN BOTH COFFEES! APPARENTLY THIS IS WHAT THE PAX SAW. NEEDLESS TO SAY; THE EVALUATORS JUDGED ME NOT IMPAIRED OR UNDER ANY INFLUENCE. THE CHIEF PLT WAS SATISFIED; THE FAA WAS SATISFIED; AND THE COMPANY WAS SATISFIED. I CONTACTED THE FAA OFFICE IN ZZZ3; WHICH TOLD ME THAT THEY HAD CALLED THE PAX BACK TO TELL HIM OF THEIR FINDINGS. THE PAX WAS SATISFIED. WHEN CONFRONTED WITH THE ACCUSATION; I WAS VERY DISTURBED THAT MY INTEGRITY AND PROFESSIONALISM WAS AT JEOPARDY. I WANTED TO IMMEDIATELY TAKE DRUG AND ALCOHOL TESTS; BUT THE COMPANY SAID THAT WAS NOT NECESSARY AND WOULD CANCEL THE FLT. THIS INCIDENT CAUSED ME AND THE CAPT UNDUE STRESS FOR THE LAST LEG FROM ZZZ4-ZZZ5. WE PROCEEDED TO ZZZ5 WITHOUT INCIDENT; BUT IN HINDSIGHT; I FEEL THE STRESS OF THIS FALSE ACCUSATION REDUCED CONCENTRATION ON MY FLYING DUTIES. THIS DISTR WAS UNCALLED FOR. IF A PAX FEELS THAT A SAFE FLT IS AT RISK; THEY SHOULD NOT HAVE GONE ON THE FLT. THEY NEVER TALKED TO AN AGENT; FLT ATTENDANT; THE CAPT OR MYSELF.
