Narrative
THIS IS A CONTINUING PROB. TXWY A AND THE APCH END OF RWY 10L ARE POORLY MARKED. ACFT CONTINUE TO TAXI BEYOND THE ENTRANCE TO THE RWY AND UTILIZE TXWY J AND TXWY Z. TXWY Z IS CLRLY MARKED AS A TXWY; NOT A RWY. ACFT SHOULD ENTER RWY 10L ON TXWY A BUT CONTINUE TO USE TXWY J AND TXWY Z. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: REPORTER ADVISED THAT THE PROBLEM ISN'T INCURSIONS; PER SE; BUT ACFT CLEARED INTO POSITION OR FOR TKOF CHOOSING THE LONGER ROUTE AND THUS DISRUPTING INBOUNDS FOR THE RWY. REPORTER ALSO BELIEVES THESE ACFT ARE IMPROPERLY USING TXWY Z AS A RWY EXTENSION RATHER THAN A TXWY; USING IT FOR ACCELERATION PURPOSES PRIOR TO THE RWY THRESHOLD. HE STATED ALMOST EXCLUSIVELY ACR TYPE ACFT ARE UTILIZING THE LONGER TAXI; APPARENTLY TO GARNER EXTRA RWY LENGTH. THE TXWYS ARE CURRENTLY EQUIPPED WITH STOP LINES ON A AND J; AS WELL AS WIG WAGS AT THE J STOP LINE AND RED SIGNS IDENTIFYING THE TXWY AS IN THE APCH PATH OF RWY 10L. IN ADDITION THERE IS A SIGN DIRECTING A LEFT TURN ON TXWY A FROM THE PARALLEL TXWY.
