Narrative
I WAS PERFORMING MY FIRST RUN -- TAXI IOE ON THE ACFT. CO-WORKER WAS IN THE R SEAT AS A CHK RUN MAN. WE WERE TO TAKE ACFT X TO THE HANGAR FROM GATE. WE TAXIED TO SPOT ON THE RAMP; AND WERE CONTACTED BY DFW GND. WE WERE DIRECTED TO TAXI R ON TXWY G THEN L ON TXWY Z THEN HOLD SHORT RWY 18L. WE COMPLIED AND WERE HOLDING SHORT AT RWY 18L ON TXWY Z. I THEN HEAR 2 CALLS ON THE GND FREQ SAYING 'RJ ON ZULU' (NOT USING MY CALL SIGN). I SAID TO CO-WORKER 'CALL GND; I THINK THEY'RE CALLING US;' AND CO-WORKER CALLED GND AND SAID WHO AND WHERE WE WERE. GND CALLED US BACK SAYING TO CROSS RWY 18L; AND HOLD SHORT RWY 18R ON TXWY Z; AND CO-WORKER READ BACK THE INSTRUCTIONS. AT THIS TIME I CLRED L AND THEN LOOKED TO THE R AND SAW AN ACFT TO THE N THAT APPEARED TO BE TAKING OFF. CO-WORKER SAID WE ARE CLRED TO CROSS. I THEN STOPPED THE ACFT WITH THE NOSE TIRES ACROSS THE HOLD LINE. GND CALLED US SAYING TO STOP. GND CALLED AND ASKED IF WE CROSSED THE HOLD LINE. CO-WORKER SAID YES. GND SAID TO CROSS RWY 18L AND HOLD SHORT RWY 18R; AND WE COMPLIED. GND THEN SAID TO CROSS RWY 18R ON TXWY Z AND CONTINUE TO THE HANGAR; AND THEN CALL THE TWR ON THE PHONE. I COMPLIED. I SPOKE TO THE TWR SUPVR. HE SAID THE INCURSION WAS THE FAULT OF THE ATC CTLR; AND THE INCURSION RPT WOULD REFLECT THAT.
