Narrative
PTU CTL' LIGHT INOP ON TAXI CHKS. ACFT STOPPED ON M9 TXWY SHORT OF RWY WITH TWR INSTRUCTIONS. MAINT CTL CONTACTED AND MAINT PROC PERFORMED; WHICH REQUIRED SHUTDOWN OF #2 ENG. AUX PUMP #2 AND AUTOFEATHER DESELECTED AFTER ENG SHUTDOWN. PROC COMPLETED AND #2 ENG RESTARTED. #2 AUX PUMP AND AUTOFEATHER RE-SELECTED AND TAXI CHKLIST PERFORMED. ACFT WAS CONFIGURED FOR TKOF; TKOF CLRNC WAS RECEIVED. PWR WAS SET FOR TKOF; WITH TORQUE INDICATED STABLE AT THE BUGS AND PWR LEVERS IN THE DETENT; BUT AUTOFEATHER DID NOT ARM; (AUTOFEATHER SELECT STILL INDICATED ON ENG DISPLAY) TKOF WAS REJECTED AT APPROX 71 KTS. TWR WAS INFORMED BY THE PNF; PAX ADVISED TO REMAIN SEATED. NO HIGH SPD BRAKING WAS REQUIRED. ACFT EXITED THE RWY VIA A HIGH SPD TXWY ON THE PARALLEL TXWY. MAINT CTL WAS CONTACTED AGAIN. ACFT CONDITION EVALED; AND THE DECISION WAS MADE TO TAXI TO THE RAMP TO CLR AN ACTIVE TXWY. ACFT WAS TAXIED ONTO THE RAMP WITH APPROPRIATE CLRNCS RECEIVED; AND INFORMED BY MAINT CTL TO RETURN TO THE GATE FOR MAINT PROC. RAMP CTL WAS ADVISED AND ACFT RETURNED TO THE GATE FOR MAINT PROC. PAX WERE ADVISED OF SITUATION.
