ACR MLG EQUIPMENT MALFUNCTION AFTER WHICH MAINTENANCE FAILED TO FOLLOW MINIMUM EQUIPMENT LIST REQUIREMENTS FOR SUBSEQUENT DEP.

Narrative

I WAS F/O ON FLT MSP TO EAU TO LSE TO MSP. FIRST LEG AND CAPT WAS FLYING. ABOUT TO CALL FOR APCH CHKLIST FOR VISUAL APCH INTO EAU RWY 4. MASTER CAUTION ILLUMINATED WITH RIGHT GEN OFF AND CSD OIL PRESSURE LOW LIGHTS ON. CAPT CALLED FOR QRH CSD OIL PRESSURE LOW CHKLIST WHICH I PERFORMED DOWN TO POINT WHERE CSD MUST BE DISCONNECTED. CAPT ALSO CALLED 'APU START;' WHICH I DID. CSD OIL TEMP WAS RISING SLOWLY ON RIGHT AND TEMP RISE WAS TWICE THE LEFT SIDE. WE PERFORMED APCH AND LNDG CHKS AND LANDED NORMALLY. ON TAXI-IN RIGHT CSD OIL TEMP STARTED RISING QUICKLY THOUGH NOT REDLINE AND CAPT CALLED FOR RIGHT CSD DISCONNECT; WHICH I DID; COMPLETING QRH PROC. CAPT WROTE UP MALFUNCTION IN MX LOG AND THEN COORDINATED BY PHONE WITH FLT AND MX CTL TO PUT RIGHT CSD AND GEN ON MEL WITH SEVERAL OTHERS THAT WERE ALREADY ON ACFT. CAPT FOLLOWED MAINT INSTRUCTIONS AND FLT CONTINUED TO LSE AND MSP SUBJECT TO CAPT'S DISCRETION WITH GEN INOP. FLT ROUTINE TO MSP TERMINATION WHERE CAPT COORDINATED WITH MAINT FOR TROUBLESHOOTING. FLT CTL WAS NOT AWARE OF GEN INOP WHEN FLT WAS RELEASED FROM LSE TO MSP; ABOUT 8 HRS AFTER MEL HAD BEEN ISSUED BY TELEPHONE. CAPT CALLED FROM LSE BY PHONE AND NEW RELEASE WAS GIVEN VERBALLY.
