Synopsis

A DHC-8 suffered flat tires on both main gear after a normal landing. Passengers were bussed to the terminal.

Narrative

We were cleared for the visual approach to the runway. It was the First Officer's landing. He touched down with a normal pitch attitude on runway centerline. The plane began to pull towards the left side of the runway and the Captain took control of the aircraft. The Captain taxied the aircraft off the active runway onto a taxiway and set the parking brake. The Flight Attendant informed us that the Captain's side main gear tires were flat. The First Officer notified Air Traffic Control that we had a flat tire and needed assistance. The Captain then called Dispatch and informed them of the situation. The Port Authority informed us that all of our main gear tires were flat and that a bus was on the way to take the passengers into the terminal. The Captain then called Dispatch and notified them that a bus would be moving the passengers from the aircraft to the terminal. Port Authority notified us that someone from the crew must accompany the passengers on the bus ride to the terminal. The Flight Attendant was sent with the passengers. There were no passenger complaints about injuries; and all passengers were bussed to the terminal.
