#3 FOR TKOF. USUAL DEP INSTRUCTIONS--LEFT TURN 060 DEGS; CLB TO 2000'. WE WERE #3. #1 HVY JUST DEPARTED; LGT TAXIED INTO POS (RWY 9L). WE WERE ADVISED 'BE READY.' LGT STARTED TKOF ROLL; WE WERE CLRED INTO POS AND ADVISED BE READY FOR IMMEDIATE (JET) TFC 1 1/2 MI ON FINAL. AS LGT STARTED ROTATION WE WERE CLRED FOR TKOF TO MAINTAIN RWY HDG (TO 2000'). SHORT TKOF ROLL OF SMT ENABLES ME TO CLR ANY POTENTIAL WAKE TURB INITIALLY. FLAPS WERE UP AT 200'; BUT I MAINTAINED METO PWR. SAW POSSIBLE TURB HAZARD IF WE CONTINUED; SO REQUESTED TURNOUT TO AVOID TURB. NO RESPONSE FROM TWR. STARTED LEFT TURN TO AVOID HAZARDOUS SITUATION AND THEN TWR SAID TURN RIGHT 15 DEGS. TURNED RIGHT THEN OUT OF 500' (STILL METO PWR). ADVISED TO TURN TO 120 DEGS. MOMENTARILY TWR OPERATOR ADVISED ACFT HAD DEPARTED RWY 9R. VISUAL SIGHTING SHOWED US TO BE ON COLLISION COURSE; SO I TURNED LEFT AND THEN TWR TOLD US TO MAKE LEFT TURN (AFTER THEY HAD CLRED JET FOR TKOF ON RWY 9L) TO 060 DEGS. VISUAL PROSPECTS LOOKED LIKE BULLSEYE ON DARTBOARD SO I TURNED 360 DEGS TO CROSS DEP PATH ASAP. CAUGHT VORTEX OF PRIOR JET WHILE XING BUMPY BUT NOT THREATENING. JET PASSED BEHIND US. F/O ASKED TWR IF THEY HAD ANY OTHER TFC TO AIM AT US. SHE SAID SORRY. TURNED TO 060 DEGS BACK ON COURSE. CONFLICT(S) ENDED.
