What happened
During a local training mission, the crew experienced a sudden loss of control over the aircraft. The subsequent impact occurred within a desert landscape situated to the west of Bu Hafafa. The accident resulted in eight fatalities and one passenger sustained serious injuries.
Among those who lost their lives were four cadets representing the Military School of the Sultanat of Oman. The incident involved a total of nine occupants on board at the time of the crash.
