Synopsis

Regional Jet 200 First Officer reported the Right Thrust Reverser did not deploy on landing and the Left Thrust Reverser was already on MEL. The First Officer reported concerns over excessive main wheel brake temperatures after arriving at the gate.

Narrative

During landing in ZZZ the Right Thrust Reverser would not deploy. There was an MEL on the aircraft for the Left Thrust Reverser. During the crew debrief we discussed that the brake temperatures were excessively high on the previous leg into ZZZ1. This was the exact same outcome with the brake temperatures coming into ZZZ when the thrust reverser did not deploy. The tower requested a short turn off in ZZZ1 and we agreed to accept. With further discussion on the previous leg we believed it possible that the right thrust reverser did not deploy on that leg either. The mechanical irregularity was documented and maintenance notified. The event was caused by crew communication and mechanical irregularities. I think that the contributing factor for the discussion on the previous leg into ZZZ1 assumed the reverser was functioning as it should have; with the quick turn off being the culprit. When the exact same thing happened into ZZZ the mechanical irregularity was documented and reported to maintenance.Suggestions - A more in depth crew post debrief to discuss all reasons why the brake temperatures were so elevated; and not just from the quick turn off.
