Synopsis

A320 flight crew reported loss of engine thrust and engine control for engine #2. Flight crew requested priority handling and made a precautionary landing at destination airport.

Narrative

Reaching cruise altitude; we observed a status message; STS (Status); flashing on and off approximately every one or two seconds. Status page displayed ONE PACK ONLY IF WAI (Wing Anti-Ice) ON" and kept going on and off with the STS for duration of flight. I wrote it up and then noticed a CFDS (Centralized Fault Display System) "BMC2 (Bleed Management Computer 2) OR SOLENOID 10HAW CKT" and I sent info to Maintenance Control aircraft desk for informational purposes.A short time later ECAM "ENG 2 ONE TLA (Thrust Lever Angle) FAULT" displayed. This cleared on its own after less than a minute. I still made a Maintenance Request entry as there was a log history for this and then this ECAM would come back on and off several times for the duration of the flight. There were no other indications. On approach to ZZZZ with the autothrottles on; ECAM "ENG 2 THR LEVER DISAGREE" displayed. Slats and flaps were extended. ECAM directed the thrust lever affected side to idle. Status page said no thrust reversers that side. Engine thrust for engine 2 would not increase above idle.First Officer was the pilot flying and I was comfortable with his experience on the airplane and had him continue to fly as I [requested priority handling] with ZZZZ Tower. I informed them both engines were still running but we had an engine that lost thrust and was at idle power only. I sent an ACARS to Dispatch informing them of the [priority handling] and that we were on approach. Landing and taxi-in were without incident. Required calls and reports were made in compliance with the Maintenance Facility."

Second reporter narrative

Reaching cruise altitude after takeoff from ZZZ we observed a status message; STS (Status); flashing on and off approximately every one or two seconds. Status page displayed ONE PACK ONLY IF WAI (Wing Anti-Ice) ON" and kept going on and off with the STS for the duration of the flight. The Captain wrote it up and then noticed a CFDS (Centralized Fault Display System) "BMC2 (Bleed Management Computer 2) OR SOLENOID 10HAW CKT" and he sent that information to Maintenance Control aircraft desk for informational purposes.A short time later ECAM "ENG 2 ONE TLA FAULT" displayed. This cleared on its own after less than one minute. A Maintenance Request entry was made and there was a history of this ECAM. The ECAM appeared several more times for the duration of the flight. There were no other indications. On approach to ZZZZ with the autothrottles on; ECAM "ENG 2 THR LEVER DISAGREE" displayed. Slats and flaps were already extended. ECAM directed the thrust lever affected side to idle. Status page said no thrust reverser that side. Engine thrust for engine two would not increase above idle. I was the pilot flying and was comfortable with the situation and continued to fly the approach. The Captain [requested priority handling] with ZZZZ Tower since we were already on their frequency. He informed the Tower both engines were running but the number two engine was stuck at idle thrust. An ACARS message was sent to Dispatch informing them of the [priority handling] and that we were on final approach. Landing and taxi-in was without incident. Required calls and reports were made by the Captain in accordance with Maintenance Facility."
