Narrative
Aircraft X. During Cruse flight preparing for the descent I gave control to Captain to do Approach Briefing. Doing that at FL370 Master Caution came on and ENG 2 FADEC SYS FAULT and ENG 2 SYSTEM FAULT ECAM messages as well. Captain called for ECAM actions and they were performed. With ENG 2 in IDLE aircraft started to slow down. A Descend to FL240 was requested to ATC and they denied it due to traffic. Captain requested to get off from Airway to perform drift down as aircraft was slowing down. FL340 was given but we needed to decent more. Then Captain requested priority handling and explained ATC what was going on in order to get to lower altitude and we were cleared direct to ZZZ. Around 5 minutes later ECAM messages disappeared and engine parameters were checked. We decided to use engine 2 back as Eng 2 parameter were continuously checked. ATC was notified that we had that engine back. COM 2 was checked for more actions to do. I took aircraft control and we briefed for plan of action in case we had more problem with Eng 2. I landed aircraft without any problems. During taxi ENG 2 TURB COOL FAULT ECAM message appeared. Eng 2 was shutdown after 3 minutes and message went away. Maintenance was notified and next flying crew were briefed about what happened.
