Synopsis

CRJ-900 First Officer reported loss of all electrical power during approach to landing. The flight crew elected to continue to landing at destination airport. Priority handling was requested on the ground for assistance in removing the passengers and towing the aircraft off the runway to the gate.

Narrative

I was the Pilot Flying. Captain was the Pilot Monitoring. Great flight until short final on the ILS XXL into ZZZ. Below 1;000 ft. AGL we heard clicking behind us by the circuit breakers. There were no messages displayed so we continued. At approximately 600 ft. the AC Essential Bus Caution message displayed - Captain called out 'continue'. We heard more clicking behind us. At approximately 400-500 ft. a bunch of EICAS messages appeared followed by loss of all AC Power and ADG (Air Driven Generator) deployment. Captain called to continue; Autopilot was disconnected and I was manually hand flying the aircraft. Visual; with the runway - I called out asking for airspeed. Captain did not respond; and I called for airspeed again. Captain then cross checked the instruments and saw FO (First Officer) side lost both PFD and MFD - everything was completely dark on my side. The Captain called 'My Aircraft' - we performed positive transfer of controls. The decision to continue was made as the approach remained stable and the Captain's side was fully functional. Upon a normal landing within the touchdown zone; the Spoilers Green Message did not appear; I called it out and the Captain manually dumped them. We lost all directional control of the aircraft with both rudder and tiller. Aircraft was bought to a complete stop on Runway XXL with the parking brake set. FO requested priority handling with Tower while Captain notified FAs and passengers. Upon requesting priority handling with Tower; the Captain then took over the radios requesting ARFF. While waiting for ARFF; we ran the AC Essential Bus QRH checklist followed by the Loss of AC Power (ADG deployed checklist). ARFF arrived and performed a 360 of the aircraft noting that the ADG was deployed. ARFF asked if the engines were shutdown to perform a closer inspection. Upon requests; we started the APU up; and shut down both engines. With the APU up and running - electrical power was restored. ARFF did another 360 and informed our outbound left main tire was 'shot' and the inboard tire was questionable. Receiving exterior inspection news; the Captain updated the FAs (Flight Attendant) and passengers. FO called Operations requesting for shuttle services to transport Passengers from aircraft to the terminal. Operations informed us that Maintenance will meet us at the plane and that the shuttles will take approximately 20 minutes. While waiting - we ran checklist since it has good information. Dispatch was notified via ACARS. We had the discussion since the left main outboard tire was flat; the aircraft was leaning - if the passenger door would still work as a suitable exit. Both the after landing and shutdown checklist were completed. The Captain logged it in the Log Book. When the shuttles arrived - passengers were deplaned and escorted to the buses in a safe and efficient manner. AC Essential Bus Caution Message followed by a loss of all AC Power.
