Narrative
Aircraft X. Departed out of lax and got Engine 2 N2 high vibration. Ran ECAM actions and adjusted thrust lever and vibration went away. Continued to get spurious high vibration ECAMs multiple times throughout flight. About an hour into flight we got Eng 2 Oil Chip Detected ECAM which procedure only required Crew awareness. About 30 minutes after that while in descent around FL 250; we noticed a vibration and something didn't feel correct immediately followed by an Engine 2 Stall. Followed ECAM and procedures and tried to initiate a relight which was unsuccessful. We shut down Engine 2 and requested priority handling. Closest suitable airport was our destination of ZZZ and also runway was considerable length for landing distance; requested direct to the airport and ATC vectored us for final approach. We let Dispatch; Flight Attendants and Passengers know. Landed safely and stopped in taxiway for trucks to check out Number 2 Engine. No damage or fire reported. Taxied to the gate normally.
