Synopsis

Air carrier First Officer reported hazmat documentation errors and missing required documents during preflight. The document errors were corrected and the hazmat associated with the missing documents was unloaded prior to departure.

Narrative

While preflighting for Aircraft X; we took note of planned dangerous goods summary". Specifically; that the "radioactive" item listed did not have a weight associated with it. We decided to wait until the "final dangerous goods summary" was issued and printed. Upon receipt of the final dangerous goods summary; it too did not reflect any weight associated with this item. We contacted local operations for some additional information and to relay our concern. Shortly thereafter; a ground ramp agent working our flight came up to the flight deck and showed us his electronic device used to transmit information to the station and load planning. The ramp agents link reflected that the listed radioactive shipment had a weight of eleven pounds (11 lbs.). However; we were surprised to learn that there was an additional dangerous goods shipment of twenty-five pounds (25 lbs.) not listed on either the planned or final dangerous goods summary documents that we had. We coordinated this information with local station operations and our concerns. Shortly thereafter; we were informed by local station operations that both dangerous goods items were to be offloaded and a new final dangerous goods summary reflecting this would be issued. The updated final dangerous goods summary printed and reflected "OFF"; but still only reflected the radioactive shipment not never the secondary shipment. We verbally confirmed with local station operations and our ramp team that in fact both items were offloaded prior to pushback."
