Synopsis

B757 Captain reported Tower reported smoke coming from the engine during landing followed by hydraulic system failure and thrust reverser malfunction.

Narrative

On landing rollout AROUND 90 to 70 knots. ZZZZ tower told us we had fire on the right engine. The First Officer noticed no abnormal engine indications. I did not see the fire handles illuminated. First Officer as PM asked for clarification. Tower then told us when we went into reverse thrust that he saw a plume of smoke from the right engine. Around this same time I noticed multiple EICAS messages: R HYD SYS PRESS;STAB TRIM; SPOILERS; and R HYD QTY. The First Officer then asked tower did he see smoke or fire. He responded no. Tower then asked did we need CFR (Crash Fire Rescue). We requested they come out and inspect as we were stopped on the taxiway. Tower then informed us CFR found no evidence of fire on right engine. At this point we consulted the QRH which was for an airborne loss of right HYD system pressure. We complied with QRH and turned right HYD system engine and electric pumps off. We requested CFR follow us to ramp as a precaution. After shut down First Officer and I went out to inspect right engine. Right reverser was still deployed which agreed with cockpit indications. I completed Maintenance write up in wrench and turned the aircraft over to Maintenance. Contacted Dispatcher and asked if they would contact the duty officer as telephones were down. Other than tower advising us of what he saw and EICAS messages the roll out was normal. No noises; airframe vibrations or yaw were noticed by my First Officer or myself. In my Maintenance write I mentioned left instead of right engine by accident. Failure of right reversing actuator. As best I can summarize.
