2 BLOWN TIRES ON LNDG PROC.

Narrative

BUR JUN/WED/94. THE ANTISKID SYS WAS INOP AND DEFERRED IN THE AML. UPON ARR AT BUR; A LNDG WAS MADE ON RWY 15 USING ANTISKID INOP PROCS. ROLLOUT WAS UNREMARKABLE EXCEPT ACFT WAS SLOW TO DECELERATE (EVEN FOR ANTISKID INOP). THE ACFT WAS TO TAXI SPD 600-700 FT FROM THE RWY END. AS THE ACFT WAS TURNED OFF OF THE RWY; THE TWR NOTIFIED US THAT WE HAD 2 BLOWN TIRES. FIRE TRUCKS WERE SCRAMBLED AND MAINT LOOKED OVER THE ACFT. THE ACFT WAS TOWED TO PARKING ON THE 2 REMAINING TIRES. ONLY THE TWR RPT WAS WRITTEN UP IN THE AML AS WE DID NOT FEEL OR HEAR ANYTHING ELSE. UPON LEAVING THE ACFT; IT WAS NOTED THAT THE 2 OUTBOARD TIRES WERE BLOWN; THE L ANTISKID HUB WAS MISSING; AND THE R ANTISKID HUB WAS CAVED IN. IN A CONVERSATION WITH THE BUR LCL CTLR HE STATED THAT HE HEARD 2 EXPLOSIONS AND SAW SMOKE AT ACFT TOUCHDOWN. THE MECH AT BUR SAID THAT HE SAW AND HEARD THE SAME THING. THE CREW DIDN'T FEEL OR HEAR ANYTHING IN THE COCKPIT. THE BRAKES WERE NOT APPLIED UNTIL AFTER REVERSE PWR WAS SET. THE INBOARD TIRES LOOKED NORMAL.
