Narrative
WE WERE CLRED FOR CIVET 1 ARR TO RWY 25L AT LAX. WE WERE NOTIFIED 10 DAYS AFTER THE FLT THAT WE WERE 400 FT LOW OVER FUELR BY THE COMPANY; WHO WERE INFORMED BY ATC. I REMEMBER NOTHING CONCERNING THIS DEV. I WISH WE HAD BEEN NOTIFIED AT THE TIME BECAUSE IT IS POSSIBLE THAT AN ERRONEOUS ALTIMETER SETTING COULD HAVE BEEN THE CULPRIT. WE DO PAY STRICT ATTN TO REQUIRED ALTS NO MATTER WHICH ARPT. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: RPTR WAS A SO FLC MEMBER. HE HAS A LOT OF TIME AS PLT. HE WAS NOT AWARE OF WHY THE 8000 FT RESTR IS IN PLACE AT FUELR. NOR WAS HE AWARE THAT FOLLOWING THE GS ON THIS APCH WOULD PLACE THE ACFT BELOW THE ALT RESTR AT FUELR. RPTR WAS EXPLAINED WHY THE 8000 FT RESTR IS THERE. WITH THAT UNDERSTANDING; HE WAS ASKED THE QUESTION THAT IF THE CTLR MADE THE STATEMENT AFTER CLRNC TO ILS RWY 25L IS GIVEN; 'COMPLY WITH ALL ALT RESTRS;' WOULD IT ALERT HIM THAT ALT XINGS ARE TO BE MAINTAINED. HE EXPRESSED THAT IT WOULD BE A GREAT HELP TO HIM AND ALL FLC MEMBERS.
