A B757 MADE AN EMER DIVERSION DUE TO #1 ENG THROTTLE RESTR.
Narrative
PARTS ORDERING SUPPORT WOULD NOT BE IN ON WKENDS. I PULLED UP THE PROJECTED NIGHT'S WORK. IN DOING SO; SEVERAL ITEMS CAME TO MY ATTN: 1) A DELAMINATED TURBO FAN DUCT WITH 14 HRS LEFT. 2) A FUEL FLOW PROB. 3) A #1 ENG THRUST REVERSER PROB. I CONCLUDED THAT THE THRUST REVERSER NEEDED AN LVDT OR AEEC AND ORDERED THOSE PARTS. UPON RPTING TO WORK LATER THAT EVENING; I NOTICED THAT INDEED THE ACFT WAS PRESENT AT ZZZ AND THAT MAINT HAD SINCE UPDATED THE ITEM; DRAWING THE SAME CONCLUSIONS FROM THE METER THAT I HAD. EVEN THOUGH I HAD NEVER BEEN TRAINED B757 GENERAL FAMILIARIZATION OR OTHERWISE NOR WORKED A B757 THRUST REVERSER PROB BEFORE. BASED ON THE ONE AND ONE HALF HR RESEARCH OF THE SYS AND THE SAME CONCLUSION THAT I HAD DRAWN WITH MAINT; I WAS BOTH EAGER AND CONFIDENT THAT MY EFFORTS WOULD RESULT IN A SUCCESSFUL SYS REPAIR. ALTHOUGH THE #1 THRUST REVERSER PROVED TO BE SVCABLE; A SUCCESSFUL REPAIR DID NOT RESULT. DURING THE DEACTIVATION AND ACTIVATION OF THE #1 THRUST REVERSER AUTO SPD BRAKE; I APPARENTLY DID NOT RESET A CIRCUIT BREAKER WHICH CAUSED THE THROTTLE TO STOP SHORT OF FULL MOVEMENT UPON TKOF FROM ZZZ. THE SAFETY OF THE CREW; PAX; AND EQUIP THAT WERE CONSEQUENTLY JEOPARDIZED BY MY OVERSIGHT CONCERNS ME GREATLY.
