HE CLAIMS HIS AIRLINE IS PRESSURING PLTS TO FLY ACFT WITH WRITE-UPS THAT HAVE BEEN 'QUICK FIX CLRED' SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE.

Narrative

FLYING ORD-PHX; GOT AN EICAS 'SPOILERS' INDICATION. I WROTE IT UP IN PHX. THIS WAS THIRD TIME FOR SAME WRITE-UP IN 24 HRS. I DEALT WITH MY MAINT COORD AND PROCEEDED TO NEW ACFT FOR PHX-SNA LEG. ACFT ARRIVES WITH A FLAP MALFUNCTION WRITE-UP. MAINT WORKS ON PROB FOR 1 HR AND ASSURES ME THE '-40' HE INSTALLED WOULD FIND THE PROB AND CLR THE FAULT. MAINT GAVE ME ASSURANCE THE PROB WAS CLRED AND THE ACFT WAS SAFE TO FLY. HOWEVER; I THINK THE ACFT SHOULD HAVE BEEN TEST FLOWN PRIOR TO REVENUE PAX FLT. I FLEW TO SNA. ON APCH; I HAD THE SAME PROB -- LEADING EDGE SLAT DISAGREE EICAS INDICATION. I CALLED FOR APPROPRIATE CHKLIST; COMPLETED EACH ITEM UNTIL NORMAL. FLAPS WERE OPERABLE AGAIN. I CALLED MAINT CTL ON THE GND. THEY HAD CONTRACT MAINT COME OVER TO ACFT AND PREPARE FOR MAINT FERRY FLT BACK TO PHX AND SENT ALL MAINT FERRY PAPERWORK. ACCORDING TO ACR FLT OPS MANUAL; SECTIONS X; Y AND Z MAY NOT HAVE BEEN FULLY COMPLIED WITH. I ALSO MAY HAVE DEPARTED SNA A MIN OR 2 PAST THE XA00 PM LCL TIME CURFEW. MAINT HAS DETERIORATED SO BADLY AT ACR LATELY THAT THE PLTS ARE BEING PRESSURED TO FLY ACFT WITH WRITE-UPS THAT HAVE BEEN 'QUICK FIX CLRED' SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE.
