APCHING JAINS INTXN; WE SAW TSTM WX AT HAINY INTXN AHEAD AND PAST. WE ASKED ZJX FOR A 50 MI DEV TO THE R OF COURSE. CTR CAME BACK AND APPROVED A 30 MI R DEV. AS WE FLEW ON; WE SAW THAT THE 30 MI DEV WAS INSUFFICIENT TO AVOID SEVERE WX; SO ASKED NEW YORK COMRDO ON THE HF FOR A 60 MI DEV R OF COURSE. WE WERE TOLD TO STAND BY. A FEW MINS LATER; WE ASKED AGAIN; AND WERE STILL TOLD TO STAND BY. AT THIS TIME WE COULD NOT WAIT ANY LONGER; AS WE WERE GETTING TOO CLOSE TO HAZARDOUS WX; AND TOLD NEW YORK THAT WE WERE USING OUR EMER AUTH TO DEV 60 MI R OF COURSE FOR TSTM WX. WE WERE HAVING TROUBLE WITH HVY STATIC ON THE HF; AND WE ALSO BROADCAST ON 130.55 THAT WE WERE USING OUR EMER AUTH TO DEV AROUND THE HAZARDOUS WX. AS WE WENT FURTHER S; NEW YORK THEN APPROVED OUR 60 MI DEV. AS WE CONTINUED; WE HAD TO DEV AN ADDITIONAL 10-20 MI R OF COURSE AS MORE LARGE TSTMS CONTINUED TO BUILD AND BLOCK OUR PATH. AT THIS POINT; COM ON THE HF WAS IMPOSSIBLE DUE TO HVY STATIC SO WE ATTEMPTED AND MADE SUCCESSFUL CONTACT WITH ZMA ON VHF. THEY PICKED US UP AND THEN CLRED US DIRECT TO BROOM INTXN WHICH KEPT US IN THE CLR. NO CONFLICTS OCCURRED AND FLT PROCEEDED NORMAL FROM THAT POINT. THIS IS AN ALL TOO FREQUENT PROB ALONG THIS RTE.
