FLT ATTENDANT RPT; B757; MEX-DFW; CLBOUT; PRESSURIZATION PROB. RETURN TO MEXICO CITY FOR MAINT.

Narrative

DEPARTED GATE AT XA33. RETURN TO MEX GATE AT XB05. AS LNDG GEAR WAS BEING RETRACTED AFTER TKOF; LOUD VIBRATION COULD BE HEARD AND SLIGHTLY FELT; UNUSUAL FOR GEAR. I FELT THERE WAS A PROB; BUT WAITED FOR WORD FROM COCKPIT. NO RECYCLING OF NO SMOKING SIGN (SIGNALING 10000 FT). HEARD SIGNALING (BEEPING) OF AN ALARM. CALLED 2L/R DOOR FLT ATTENDANTS TO SEE IF THEY HEARD IT -- NEGATIVE; THE SOUND WAS COMING FROM COCKPIT. THEN ACFT PITCHED ACFT R; PAX MADE SOUNDS 'OH;' 'WOW;' THEN ACFT PITCHED ACFT L. OUT OF FORWARD ENTRY DOOR PEEP HOLE; COULD SEE 'GREEN.' I KNEW IT WAS MOUNTAINS; BECAUSE OF TREE OUTLINES. UNUSUAL; BECAUSE JUMP SEAT IS TOO LOW TO CLRLY HAVE VISUAL ACCESS OUTSIDE WITHOUT STANDING UP AND LOOKING DIRECTLY OUT OF HOLE. THEN COCKPIT CALLED ON INTERPHONE STATING PROB OF PRESSURIZATION; RETURNING TO MEX. HE WOULD MAKE PA TO CABIN. I MADE 'PREPARE FOR LNDG' PA TO CABIN; AFTER TELEPHONING CREW ON INTERPHONE. PAX VISIBLY SHAKEN (BECAUSE YOU COULD FEEL ACFT WAS NOT FLYING CORRECTLY) BUT VERY RELIEVED RETURNING TO MEX. SEVERAL PAX DECLINED TO RETURN.
