ON DOWNWIND FOR A SLAM DUNK VISUAL TO RWY 28R AT SFO; ASSIGNED AIRSPD WAS 220 KTS. TURNED BASE LEG AND TOLD TO LOOK FOR PARALLEL TFC ON VISUAL TO RWY 28L. FO WAS FLYING AND CAPT WAS KEEPING TFC IN SIGHT AND HELPING WITH RETURN TO NORMAL GLIDE PATH. FO DID GREAT JOB OF DSNDING AND SLOWING; AND WE KEPT TFC IN SIGHT. STABILIZED APCH BY 1200 FT AND NICE TOUCHDOWN. CLRED RWY 28R AT TXWY T AND HELD SHORT OF RWY 28L. AFTER WAITING FOR CLRNC TO CROSS RWY 28L FOR 45 SECONDS; CAPT NOTICED THAT RADIOS WERE STILL ON APCH FREQ. HAD NOT RECEIVED TWR CLRNC TO LAND. SWITCHED TO TWR AND RECEIVED CLRNC ACROSS RWY 28R. ANOTHER FACTOR WAS INABILITY TO SECURE DOOR OPEN DUE TO SECURITY BAR...FERRY FLT DOOR WAS FLAPPING OPEN AND SHUT BECAUSE SECURITY BAR PREVENTS MAGNETIC LATCH FROM HOLDING DOOR OPEN; AS REQUIRED BY AFM ON FERRY FLTS. TWR DID NOT THINK THE MISSED RADIO SWITCH WAS A BIG DEAL. DO NOT REMEMBER IF WE WERE CLRED TO LAND BY ANYONE. WE NEED TO SPELL OUT A WAY TO SECURE THE DOOR OPEN NOW THAT THE SECURITY BAR IS INSTALLED.
