Narrative
ON LNDG AT LAS; FAILED TO ACKNOWLEDGE TWR'S DIRECTION TO 'HOLD SHORT OF RWY 25R' AFTER WE HAD LANDED ON RWY 25L. WHILE THIS RESULTED IN NO PROBS; IT IS SYMPTOMATIC OF THE FATIGUE I WAS EXPERIENCING AS A RESULT OF A LONG DUTY DAY; (4 DIFFERENT DESTS) IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT. I WAS OK ON THE SECOND TO THIRD LEG; BUT LEAVING ON MY THIRD LEG; I DID NOT REALIZE HOW TIRED I REALLY WAS. EVEN THOUGH AN 11 HR 17 MIN CREW DUTY DAY AND 7 HR 53 MINS OF SCHEDULED FLYING TIME IS LEGAL; IT DOES NOT MEAN IT IS SAFE WHEN FLOWN IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT. THE CORRECTIVE ACTION IS NOT TO SCHEDULE TRIPS LIKE THIS. BUT THAT FAILING; I SHOULD HAVE GONE INTO CREW REST AT THE THIRD ARPT. MAYBE I WAS TOO TIRED TO KNOW I WAS TOO TIRED. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 537465: THE CORRECTIVE ACTION SHOULD HAVE BEEN TO GO INTO CREW REST AT OUR THIRD DEST ARPT. EVEN THOUGH AN 11 HR 17 MIN DUTY DAY AND A 7 HR 53 MIN FLT TIME IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT IS LEGAL; DOESN'T MEAN IT'S SAFE! THIS PAIRING IS AN ACCIDENT WAITING TO HAPPEN.
