A320 FLC HAS REJECTED TKOF DUE TO TFC TO SVMI.
Narrative
ENG START AND TAXI TO RWY 9 WAS NORMAL. AT ABOUT XA10 WE WERE CLRED INTO POS AND HOLD. 1 MIN LATER; TKOF CLRNC WAS RECEIVED. FO WAS FLYING. SHORTLY AFTER THE '80 KTS THRUST SET' CALL; TWR CALLED US WITH A GARBLED MESSAGE. MOMENTS LATER WE RECEIVED ANOTHER GARBLED XMISSION. A THIRD CALL TO US WAS EXCITED AND URGENT. I THEN SAID 'DO YOU WANT US TO ABORT THE TKOF; TO STOP?' TWR RESPONDED 'AFFIRMATIVE; AFFIRMATIVE.' AT ABOUT 120 KTS THE TKOF WAS ABORTED AND WE EXITED AT TXWY F AND TOLD THE PAX TO REMAIN SEATED. WE TAXIED TO RWY 9 TO WAIT FOR THE BRAKES TO COOL. I CALLED CCS MAINT TO CHOCK THE NOSE GEAR AND CHK THE TIRES AND BRAKES. LATER THE #3 TIRE FUSE PLUGS DEFLATED THAT TIRE. I WALKED THROUGH THE CABIN TO CHK ON THE PAX AND FLT ATTENDANTS. THERE WERE NO INJURIES AND EVERYONE WAS CALM. THEN THE #1 TIRE DEFLATED. CCS MAINT TOOK CTL OF THE ACFT AS THE CREW AND PAX WERE BUSSED TO THE TERMINAL. WE LATER LEARNED THAT ACFT Y MADE A SHORT BASE TO FINAL APCH AND ENDED UP GOING AROUND. TWR REQUESTED THAT WE ABORT THE TKOF TO AVOID A TFC CONFLICT.
