Synopsis

A320 FO HAD A CONTINUING PERSONALITY CONFLICT WITH THE CAPT. THE CAPT IGNORED COMPANY REQUIRED CHKS AND PROCS.

Narrative

THIS IS A CRM PERSONALITY CONFLICT THAT LED TO A SIT WHERE THERE WAS A LACK OF COM WHICH FURTHER LED TO AN SOP INFRACTION IN MY VIEW. WE HEAVILY DEBATED WHETHER OR NOT TO DEICE. WE DID AT MY INSISTENCE AND HE WAS SURE TO LET ME KNOW THAT HE DIDN'T THINK WE NEEDED IT. FURTHERMORE; HE THOUGHT THE CONTAMINATION CHK COULD BE DONE FROM THE COCKPIT WHICH IS NOT TRUE; BUT THAT'S WHERE HE DID IT FROM. HE ALSO NEGLECTED TO DO THE REQUIRED ENG RUN-UPS AFTER DEICING. HE IS TOTALLY CLUELESS AND FOR THE 2 PREVIOUS DAYS THIS RELATIONSHIP DETERIORATED TO A POINT WHERE MY INPUT DID NOT MATTER NOR WOULD IT EVER BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT SOME SORT OF COMMENT. BECAUSE OF THE LACK OF COM AND CRM; I DID NOT CORRECT HIM ON THE ENG RUN-UPS OR THE CONTAMINATION CHKS. THE CHKS ARE TO BE PERFORMED APPROX 5 MINS BEFORE DEP. HE SAID HE WALKED BACK TO CHK THE WINGS JUST AFTER THE DEICING WAS COMPLETE. HE SAID THEY WERE CLR. THIS WAS BEFORE PUSHBACK. CERTAINLY MORE THAN 5 MINS FROM TKOF. I PERSONALLY DON'T THINK HE CHKED. I WAS NOT PRESENT WHEN THIS WAS DONE.
