Narrative
IN A 757; ON OUR WAY OUT OF MIAMI; PASSING THROUGH FL350 ONTO FL370; WE NOTICED THAT THE R ENG OIL PRESSURE LOW LIGHT WENT ON AND THAT THE R ENG OIL QUANTITY WENT TO ZERO. WE DECLARED AN EMER AND REQUESTED A RETURN TO MIAMI. WE WERE CLRED DIRECT TO INTXN H; PLT DISCRETION TO FL240. THE CAPT WAS FLYING; AND AS THE FO; I LOOKED UP AND ANNOUNCED THE FOLLOWING CHKLISTS IN THAT ORDER: ENG OIL PRESSURE LOW LIGHT CHKLIST; ENG FAILURE PRECAUTIONARY SHUT DOWN CHKLIST; SINGLE ENG LNDG CHKLIST; SINGLE ENG GAR CHKLIST; AND FINALLY THE BEFORE LNDG CHKLIST. AFTER SECURING THE R ENG AND COMPLETING ALL THE CHKLISTS; WE WERE CLRED BY CTR FOR THE VISUAL RWY 9L IN MIAMI. WE REQUESTED CFR BEFORE LNDG AND RE-CONFIRMED THAT THEY WOULD WATCH FOR US AFTER LNDG. AFTER LNDG; WE ASKED CFR TO CHK OUR R ENG BEFORE GND CTL CLRED US BACK TO OUR GATE. WE SHUT DOWN THE L ENG AS PER CHKLIST. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 594607: I NOTICED R ENG OIL PRESS LIGHT FLICKERING. VERIFIED WITH EICAS; LOW OIL PRESSURE WITH ZERO OIL QUANTITY. HAD FO RUN ENG FAILURE/PRECAUTIONARY SHUTDOWN CHKLIST.
