B757 CABIN ATTENDANTS RESTRAIN 2 PAX WHO CONSUMED A PERSONAL BOTTLE OF LIQUOR AND BECAME INEBRIATED; UNRULY; AND SICK.

Narrative

WE CLOSED THE DOOR AND AFTER THE SAFETY DEMO; I WAS PERFORMING MY SAFETY CHKS WHEN I FIRST SAW THE PAX WHO ASKED ME FOR A COKE. I TOLD HIM THAT I WOULD BE DOING A SVC AND HE WOULD BE GETTING A COKE SOON. HE THEN HELD UP; TO SHOW ME; HIS BOTTLE OF ALCOHOL (I LATER FOUND OUT IT WAS A FIFTH OF SCOTCH WHISKEY). I STOPPED AND TOLD HIM; YOU CANNOT DRINK YOUR ALCOHOL ON THIS FLT. PLEASE PUT IT AWAY. I WOULD BE HAPPY TO SELL YOU A DRINK LATER. HE SAID OK. I PROCEEDED UP TO FIRST CLASS AND TOLD FLT ATTENDANT #1 WHAT HAD JUST HAPPENED. FLT ATTENDANT #3 WAS ALSO INFORMED. I HAD ALSO INFORMED FLT ATTENDANT #4. THE CAPT MADE A PA GIVING AN UPDATE ON OUR DELAY AND STATED THAT THE FLT ATTENDANTS WOULD BE DOING A SVC WHILE WE WERE PARKED. FLT ATTENDANT #4 AND I STARTED UP THE AISLE WITH THE CART. WHEN WE GOT TO ROW X; FLT ATTENDANT #4 NOTICED THAT OUR PAX HAD GOTTEN HIS BOTTLE OF ALCOHOL OUT AGAIN. FLT ATTENDANT #4 TOLD HIM THAT HE COULD NOT DRINK HIS ALCOHOL ONBOARD THE PLANE; PLEASE PUT IT AWAY. THIS IS HIS SECOND WARNING; AND HE COULD BE IN SERIOUS TROUBLE IF HE DID NOT PUT THE ALCOHOL AWAY. HE SAID OK; AND PUT THE BOTTLE AWAY. THE CAPT SAID OUR GND HOLD HAD BEEN LIFTED AND WE WERE GOING TO DEPART AS SOON AS WE COULD GET THE CABIN READY. AFTER TKOF; I GOT THE CART READY AND WE STARTED OUR SVC AT ROW Y. THIS IS WHEN FLT ATTENDANT #4 AND I FIRST NOTICED HOW INTOXICATED THE PAX IN SEATS XXA AND XXB WERE. THEY HAD BEEN DRINKING THE ALCOHOL THE WHOLE TIME. I NEVER SAW THEM TAKE A DRINK FROM THE BOTTLE; HOWEVER; THE PAX IN XXC SAW THEM. SHE LATER TOLD US THEY WERE DRINKING FROM THE BOTTLE THE ENTIRE TIME; EVEN AFTER WE TOLD THEM NOT TO. SO; WE CONTINUED OUR SVC. WHEN FLT ATTENDANT #4 GOT TO ROW XX; THE PAX IN XXA WAS STARTING TO USE FOUL LANGUAGE; AND HIS ARMS WERE FLYING EVERYWHERE. FLT ATTENDANT #4 TRIED TO SETTLE HIM DOWN. I INFORMED FLT ATTENDANT #2; AND HE WAS UPDATING THE CAPT. FLT ATTENDANT #1 AND I WERE IN THE BACK GALLEY WHEN THE PAX IN XXA GOT UP TO GO TO THE LAVATORY. I DIDN'T SEE HIM ACCIDENTALLY HIT A PAX THAT WAS SITTING IN AN AISLE SEAT. HE STARTED TO WALK STAGGERING THE WHOLE WAY. HE MADE IT INTO THE LAVATORY; AND WE CLOSED THE DOOR FOR HIM. HE WAS UNABLE TO LOCK THE DOOR. BY THIS TIME WE FOUND OUT ABOUT THE PAX GETTING HIT BY HIM. WE GOT HER ICE. I HEARD HIM IN THE LAVATORY POUNDING ON THE DOOR AND THE WALLS; MAKING NOISES. FLT ATTENDANT #4 WALKED HIM BACK TO HIS SEAT. A LITTLE WHILE LATER THE PAX IN XXB GOT OUT OF HIS SEAT AND STARTED WALKING TOWARDS THE LAVATORY; HOWEVER; HE JUST MADE IT TO THE LAVATORY AND HE STARTED TO THROW UP NEVER CLOSING THE DOOR. AFTER HE WAS FINISHED HE WALKED BACK TO HIS SEAT. I THEN CLOSED AND LOCKED THE BACK LAVATORY; SO NO OTHER PAX COULD USE IT. WHILE THIS WAS GOING ON; THE PAX SEATED IN XXC COULDN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE; SO I BROUGHT HER BACK TO MY JUMPSEAT AND CALLED THE CAPT MYSELF. GAVE HIM AN UPDATE; AND HE HAD NO PROB WITH HER SITTING IN MY JUMPSEAT. THE CAPT WANTED ME TO TRY AND FIND 2 ABLE GUYS TO HELP US IF WE NEEDED THEM. HE ALSO SAID THE FLT WOULD BE MET BY THE POLICE. CALL LIGHTS WERE GOING OFF ALL AROUND THESE 2 PAX. ABOUT 1 HR AND 30 MINS BEFORE LNDG; THE PAX IN XXA STARTED POUNDING THE SEAT IN FRONT OF HIM. SO FLT ATTENDANT #4 AND MYSELF USED BOTH OUR FLEX CUFFS TO KEEP HIS HANDS FROM MOVING. CUFFED HIS HANDS AND THEN CUFFED HIM TO THE TRAY TABLE. NOT SURE WHEN; BUT THE PAX IN XXB STARTED TO THROW UP IN HIS SEAT. SO FLT ATTENDANT #4 GOT HIM A BAG; HOWEVER; IT WAS ALREADY ALL OVER HIM; THE SEAT NEXT TO HIM; SEATBACK PACKET. WE COVERED HIM WITH EXTRA PILLOW CASES I FOUND IN THE BACK. WE HAD NO EXTRA BLANKETS; THEY WERE ALL BEING USED BY OTHER PAX. NOT SURE WHEN; BUT I THINK THE PAX IN SEAT XXA ALSO THREW UP ALL OVER HIMSELF. AFTER WE LANDED; THE CAPT MADE A PA STATING THAT ALL PAX REMAIN SEATED SO THAT LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS COULD COME ONBOARD. AFTER ALL THE PAX DEPLANED; THE LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS PROCEEDED TO HANDCUFF THE PAX IN XXA AND XXB. THEY WERE ABLE TO WALK THE PAX IN XXB OFFTHE PLANE; HOWEVER; THE PAX IN XXA HAD TO BE REMOVED WITH THE AISLE CHAIR. THE PORT AUTH OFFICER IN CHARGE TOOK OUR STATEMENTS AND WANTED TO KNOW IF WE WERE GOING TO PRESS CHARGES. FLT ATTENDANT #4 AND MYSELF DECIDED TO PRESS CHARGES. THE OFFICER IN CHARGE INFORMED THE FBI OF THIS; AND WE WAITED FOR THEIR DECISION. THE FBI GOT BACK TO HIM AND SAID THAT THESE PAX DID NOT HARM ANYONE OR CAUSE ANY REAL PROBS; THEY WERE ONLY BEING STUPID; NO CHARGES WOULD BE FILED.
