A-320 CREW HAD CONFLICTS WITH 2 OTHER ACFT WHILE BEING CTLED BY ORD GND CTL.
Narrative
WE LANDED ORD RWY 4R AND WERE TOLD TO EXIT AT TXWY Q. AS WE WERE TURNING ONTO TXWY Q; TWR SAID 'EXIT TXWY Q; KEEP THE SPD UP; HEAD FOR TXWY D; GND POINT 9 (121.9).' SOUND FAMILIAR? THEY ALMOST ALWAYS SAY THAT. HDG FOR TXWY D MEANS THROUGH THE RWY 27L PAD -- NOT UNUSUAL. I NOTICED AN F100 IN FRONT OF US WHICH I THOUGHT WAS ALSO HEADING FOR TXWY D. IT WAS HARD TO SEE THE F100. I ONLY NOTICED ITS TAIL CONE IN OUR TAXI LIGHT. I DID NOT NOTICE A BEACON. AS I BEGAN MY XMISSION TO GND CTL; IT SEEMED THAT THE F100 WASN'T MOVING. THE CAPT SLOWED THE AIRPLANE AND AVOIDED THE F100 TO THE R -- IT HAD BEEN SLIGHTLY TO OUR L. AS THAT HAPPENED ABOUT THE MIDDLE OF MY XMISSION; I NOTICED A REGIONAL JET EBOUND ON TXWY D WITH NO TAXI LIGHT. AS WE WERE ALMOST ABEAM THE F100; THE RJ MADE A SHARP R TURN TOWARDS US. I CUT OFF MY XMISSION; POINTED OUT THE RJ TO THE CAPT; AND PREPARED TO APPLY THE BRAKES. THE CAPT SAID HE SAW IT AND SLOWED THE AIRPLANE TO A CRAWL. THE RJ STOPPED AT ABOUT OUR 2 O'CLOCK POS AND THEN TURNED ON ITS TAXI LIGHT. GND CTL HAD ANSWERED US DURING THAT TIME; BUT I DIDN'T HEAR A WORD OF IT DUE TO MY DISCUSSIONS WITH THE CAPT AND AVOIDING THE OTHER PLANES. UNABLE TO TURN L OR R; THERE WAS SUFFICIENT ROOM TO TAXI BTWN THE ACFT AND THAT IS WHAT THE CAPT DID. GND CTL WAS RAPIDLY GIVING INSTRUCTIONS TO OTHER ACFT (AS USUAL). I THEN NOTICED ANOTHER ACFT PARKED ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE F100; AND IT BECAME OBVIOUS THAT THE RWY 27L PAD WAS BEING USED FOR PARKING. AT THAT SAME TIME; I HEARD GND CTL GIVING INSTRUCTIONS TO THE ACFT THAT LANDED BEHIND US TO TAKE TXWY M TO TXWY M5 AVOIDING THE RWY 27L PAD. I TOLD GND OUR POS ON TXWY D AND REQUESTED INSTRUCTIONS. I HAD TO CONFIRM OUR POS TO HIM; AND THEN HE GAVE US INSTRUCTIONS. HE WAS ALSO CONFUSED ABOUT OTHER ACFT POS AND TYPES AROUND US (NEAR TXWY D AND TXWY M5). FROM THERE WE PARKED UNEVENTFULLY.
