CL65 CREW WAS HIT BY A RAMP VEHICLE. THEY WERE IN A RAMP AREA NOT CTLED BY THE ATCT GND CTLR.
Narrative
THE TKOF; FLT AND LNDG WERE CONDUCTED WITHIN NORMAL PARAMETERS. I WAS PNF. UPON LNDG IN ATL; IT WAS DUSK. THE WX WAS LIGHT RAIN AND OVCST SKIES AT THAT TIME. WE WERE TAXIING ON RAMP IN ATL; NBOUND. AFTER ENTERING THE RAMP; WE REDUCED OUR TAXI SPD FURTHER. IN THE VICINITY OF GATE X; I FELT AN IMPACT FROM WHAT I LATER LEARNED TO BE A GND VEHICLE. ALTHOUGH SCANNING THE RAMP AREA; AT NO TIME DID I SEE THE GND VEHICLE THAT STRUCK THE R WING OF THE ACFT. IMMEDIATELY AFTER IMPACT; I STOPPED THE ACFT; SHUT DOWN THE ENGS AND CONTACTED RAMP TWR AND OPS. I EXITED THE ACFT AND WITH MAINT; INSPECTED THE DAMAGE. THERE WERE NO APPARENT FUEL LEAKS. I DID NOT EVAC THE ACFT. THERE WERE NO RPTED INJURIES TO THE PAX OR CREW OF THE FLT. SUBSEQUENTLY; I WAS INFORMED THAT THE DRIVER OF THE GND VEHICLE WAS INJURED; BUT EXITED THE VEHICLE UNDER HIS OWN PWR. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 605967: NEAR REACHING THE CTR ROADWAY BY GATE; I SCANNED TO MY R. AT THAT MOMENT; I SAW A WHITE PICK-UP TRUCK APCHING THE R SIDE OF OUR ACFT. I DID NOT SEE THIS TRUCK AS WE APCHED THE ROAD. THERE WAS NO TIME TO ALERT THE CAPT PRIOR TO THE GND VEHICLE'S IMPACT. AT ALL TIMES THE ACFT TAXIED AT A SLOW RATE OF SPD. THE TAXI LIGHTS WERE ON AS WERE THE WING INSPECTION LIGHTS; THE NAV LIGHTS; AND THE ROTATING BEACON. THE LIGHTING CONDITIONS IN THE RAMP AREA WERE NORMAL. AT ALL TIMES DURING TAXI; THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS WERE ON.
