CL65 CREW HAD A SPD DEV AFTER THE ACFT WAS MEL'ED WITH 1 PACK INOP AND THE OTHER PACK TRIPPED OFF.
Narrative
ROUTINE DEP FROM LNK. ACFT HAD 1 PACK DEFERRED; DUE TO A CTL PROB ON THE PREVIOUS FLT. ON DEP; THE OPERABLE PACK GAVE AN OVERPRESSURE CAUTION LIGHT (AS I XFERRED THE BLEEDS FROM THE APU TO THE ENGS) AND THE PACK WENT OFF LINE. THIS MEANT THAT WE WERE UNPRESSURIZED AND AIRPLANE BEGAN TO LEAK DOWN PRESSURE. I TOLD ATC THAT WE WOULD NEED TO LEVEL OFF. CAPT WAS FLYING AND TOOK THE RADIOS AS I GRABBED THE QRH TO DEAL WITH THE PACK. I GOT THE PACK GOING AGAIN PER THE QRH IN LESS THAN 1 MIN. THE ACFT PRESSURIZATION RECOVERED. AS I LOOKED UP; I NOTICED THAT THE AIRSPD WAS INCREASING THROUGH 270 KTS. I MENTIONED THIS TO THE CAPT WHO PULLED THE PWR BACK AND STARTED TO CLB TO REDUCE AIRSPD. WE REDUCED TO 250 KTS AND CONTINUED. AIRSPD EXCURSION LASTED PERHAPS 30 SECONDS. DEP CTL SAID NOTHING AND TURNED US OVER TO CTR. BAL OF FLT WAS UNEVENTFUL. LESSON LEARNED: PF MUST FLY THE AIRPLANE EVEN WITH THE DISTR OF TEMPORARY LOSS OF PRESSURIZATION. FLY THE AIRPLANE; DEAL WITH THE PROB; COORDINATE WITH ATC. THERE WERE NO CONFLICTS WITH ANY OTHER ACFT.
