FLT CREW OF B757-200 RECEIVE REVISION TO TKOF DATA AFTER TKOF. SHOWS INCREASE OF NEARLY 3000 LBS.
Narrative
ON ARR AT THE ACFT; WE COMPLETED OUR PREFLT CHKS AND LOADED THE ESTIMATED WTS INTO THE FMC. WE WERE READY FOR DEP WHEN WE WERE NOTIFIED THAT WE WOULD BE DELAYED FOR LATE BAGS THAT HAD TO BE LOADED. WHEN THIS WAS FINISHED; WE TAXIED OUT AND REQUESTED NEW WTS THROUGH ACARS. ON RECEIVING THEM; WE ENTERED THE NEW WTS INTO THE FMC AND REVISED OUR TKOF WT AND SPDS. WE THEN TOOK OFF AND PROCEEDED TO IAD. ON CLB OUT WE RECEIVED A MESSAGE FROM DISPATCH ASKING IF WE HAD RECEIVED REVISED WTS FROM LOAD PLANNING. WE ADVISED THEM THAT WE HAD PULLED UP NEW WTS THROUGH ACARS AND ADVISED DISPATCH OF WHAT THEY WERE. DISPATCH SENT US BACK A MESSAGE WITH THE CORRECT WTS AND WE REALIZED THAT THERE WAS A DIFFERENCE OF APPROX 3000 LBS. DISPATCH INFORMED US THAT RAMP HAD LOADED 80 EXTRA BAGS ON THE ACFT AND HAD NOT SCANNED THEM INTO THE SYSTEM; SO IN EFFECT WE HAD TAKEN OFF 3000 LBS HEAVIER THAN CALCULATED. THE FINAL WTS THAT WE HAD RECEIVED OVER ACARS WERE ZFW/175938 TOG/220938 MAC/25.9 TRIM/4.3. THE WTS WE RECEIVED FROM DISPATCH WERE ZFW/178338 TOG/223338 MAC/27.2 TRIM/4.1. THANKFULLY WE DID NOT HAVE ANY CTL PROBS. DISPATCH ALSO ADVISED US THAT THIS HAD HAPPENED BEFORE.
