RUSHED TO GET UNDERWAY BY ATC AND THE COMPANY; CL65 FLT CREW TAXI OUT WITH OPEN LOG ITEMS.
Narrative
WE FLEW PART 121 INTO CLT; PARKED AND DEPLANED. WE THEN HAD 25 MINS TO SWAP INTO ANOTHER ACFT; PREFLT; LOAD THE PAX AND BAGS; COMPLETE THE PAPERWORK; AND PUSH BACK. THERE WAS NO PWR ON WHEN WE REACHED THE NEXT ACFT; SO WE HAD TO START THE APU AND DO OUR START-UP SYS CHKS. WHILE WE WERE DOING OUR PREFLT CHKS; THE GATE AGENT WAS PRESSING US TO BOARD THE PAX. WE RUSHED TO COMPLETE OUR DUTIES AND PUSHED OFF THE GATE BECAUSE WE ALSO HAD AN ESTIMATED DEP CLRNC TIME FOR TKOF. AS WE WERE TAXIING TO THE RWY; GND CTL CALLED US AND SAID OPS HAD INFORMED THEM THAT WE NEEDED TO RETURN TO THE GATE. WE CONTACTED OPS AND IN THE CONVERSATION FOUND WE HAD MISSED 2 OPEN MAINT WRITE-UPS ON THE ACFT. SO WE RETURNED TO THE GATE. IF THE DISPATCH RELEASE WAS NOT ENTERED INTO THE SYS UNTIL THE ACFT WAS RELEASED FROM MAINT CTL; OR THE ACFT WAS NOT MOVED FROM THE MAINT HANGAR TO THE GATE UNTIL THE CORRECTIVE ACTION WAS COMPLETED; WE WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN RUSHED TO ACCOMPLISH OUR MANY DUTIES WITH EXTRA OPERATIONAL CHALLENGES INVOLVED. AS FAR AS HUMAN FACTORS ARE CONCERNED; I ALLOWED MYSELF TO BE RUSHED AND DIDN'T FOLLOW MY NORMAL ROUTINE WHEN APCHING A NEW ACFT.
