Narrative
DURING PUSHBACK INTO THE ALLEY ACFT APPEARED TO HAVE STOPPED. AT THIS TIME THE TUG DRIVER CALLED THE COCKPIT. WE HAD ALREADY STARTED THE L ENG AND THE DRIVER'S WORDS WERE NOT CLR DUE TO EXCESSIVE BACKGND NOISE. IN ANTICIPATION OF 'SET PARKING BRAKES;' I MOVED MY FEET TO THE TOP OF THE RUDDER PEDDLES AND CLARIFY HIS LAST XMISSION. AT THAT TIME THE PLANE LURCHED. THE #2 FLT ATTENDANT CALLED AND SAID 3 FLT ATTENDANTS ARE ON THE FLOOR. FO INQUIRED AS TO THE CONDITION OF ALL THE CREW AND PAX. LATER; IT WAS DETERMINED THAT WE WOULD RETURN TO THE GATE. THE FLT ATTENDANTS DID NOT WANT MEDICAL ASSISTANCE TO MEET THE PLANE BUT WE CALLED PARAMEDICS AS A PRECAUTION. WE WERE TOWED BACK TO THE GATE WHERE #1; #2; AND #3 REMOVED THEMSELVES FROM THE TRIP. DURING THE TOW-IN THE TUG DRIVER SAID HE HAD CALLED ME TO TELL ME THAT WE WOULD BE FACING THE SUN. #1 FLT ATTENDANT HAD A BLOODY KNEE WITH POSSIBLE BRUISING. #2 FLT ATTENDANT HAD BRACED HIMSELF AGAINST THE OVEN AND PROBABLY SPRAINED HIS WRIST. #3 FLT ATTENDANT HAD SPOKEN TO THE MOD AND AS A PRECAUTION DECIDED TO SEEK MEDICAL. THEY DID NOT USE PARAMEDIC ASSISTANCE AND I BELIEVE 2 OF THE 3 WENT TO A MEDICAL CTR ON THEIR OWN. IN CONCLUSION; THERE WERE SEVERAL AREAS OF CONCERN. NONSTANDARD COM AT AN INAPPROPRIATE TIME; FLT ATTENDANT OUT OF THEIR SEATS DURING PUSHBACK; AND MY ANTICIPATION OF SETTING BRAKES.
