AN A320 PLT RPTS LGCIU #1 AND LGCIU #2 FAILURES AS THE LNDG GEAR HANDLE WAS EXTENDED ON FINAL APCH. AN EMER WAS DECLARED.

Narrative

WHILE TURNING A 9 MI FINAL; SLOWING AND CONFIGURING FOR APCH; PUT GEAR DOWN AND GOT MULTIPLE FAILURES. ECAM #1 -- LNDG GEAR/DOORS NOT CLOSED; ECAM #2 -- LGCIU #1 FAILURE AND BLUE TO DO. ECAM #3 -- LGCIU #2 FAILURE AND BLUE TO DO. ALL 3 GEAR WERE DOWN/LOCKED. ALL GEAR DOORS WERE OPEN. BLUE TO DO WANTED TO CRANK GEAR DOWN -- DISREGARDED. ALSO KNEW/NOTICED STEERING FAILURE. HAND FLEW REMAINDER OF APCH TO TOUCHDOWN. ON FINAL; DISCUSSED SEVERAL OPTIONS INCLUDING CYCLING GEAR (NO USE) AND CYCLING ANTI-SKID/NOSEWHEEL STEERING SWITCH OFF/ON (NO HELP). COPLT ASKED IF WANTED TO GO AROUND TO TALK WITH ANYONE AND DECIDED IN POS TO LAND SO CONTINUE TO FULL STOP. ROLLED TO END; HAD NORMAL BRAKES AND USED DIFFERENTIAL BRAKING AND THRUST TO CLR ACTIVE. DECLARED EMER WITH TWR ON FINAL AND HAD THEM ROLL EMER EQUIP. BRAKES NEVER GOT ABOVE 190 DEGS C (NO HOT BRAKES). STARTED APU AND SHUT DOWN ENGS; COMPLETED REMAINDER OF TOW-IN CHKLIST. GOT TOWED IN FROM RAMP AND PARKED ACFT. GAVE IT TO MAINT; MADE ALL APPROPRIATE CALLS AND CALLED IT A DAY.
