CRJ200 FLT CREW HAS EICAS WARNING AFTER TKOF; TIRE FAILURE AND ACFT DAMAGE WAS DISCOVERED AT DEST.
Narrative
THE FLT DEPARTED HEADING TO ORF. DURING GEAR RETRACTION WE HAD 2 OR 3 UNUSUAL WARNINGS. THE ONLY ONE THAT STAYED ILLUMINATED WAS WOW INPUT CAUTION. AT A SAFE ALT; I CONTACTED MAINT CTL THROUGH DISPATCH AND DISCUSSED THE PROB WITH THEM. WE DETERMINED TO CONTINUE TO ORF AFTER FOLLOWING THE QRH; WHICH JUST HAD US VERIFY THAT THE NOSEWHEEL STEERING WAS ON. THE FLT CONTINUED WITHOUT INCIDENT. WHEN WE EXTENDED THE LNDG GEAR FOR LNDG; WE RECEIVED 1 ADDITIONAL CAUTION OUTBOARD ANTISKID. THE QRH STATED TO INCREASE LNDG DISTANCE BY 1.9% AND NO HARD USE OF BRAKES. THERE WAS 9000 FT OF RWY SO THIS WAS NO FACTOR. THERE WAS A R XWIND AND WE LANDED WITH THE R WING LOW. IT WAS NOT A HARD LNDG. THE ACFT SETTLED WITH THE L WING A BIT LOW; BUT AT FIRST I COULDN'T TELL IF IT WAS FROM THE XWIND. DURING THE LAST OF THE ROLLOUT WE SUSPECTED WE HAD A FLAT TIRE. THERE WERE NO CONTROLLABILITY ISSUES. THE ACFT TAXIED WITH NO UNUSUAL PWR INPUTS SO WE SLOWLY PROCEEDED TO THE GATE. WHILE THE PAX DEPLANED; ONE COMMENTED EITHER TO THE FO OR FLT ATTENDANT THAT HE HAD HEARD AN UNUSUAL NOISE WHEN WE TOOK OFF. I SUSPECT THAT ONE OR BOTH TIRES BLEW AT ROTATION DURING TKOF. THIS MOST LIKELY CAUSED THE WOW INPUT CAUTION MESSAGE. I SUSPECT THAT THE DISINTEGRATING TIRES TORE OFF THE GEAR DOOR UPON LNDG. THE ARPT OPS PEOPLE FOUND A LOT OF RUBBER AND THE GEAR DOOR ON THE RWY AT ORF.
