Narrative
WE CONTACTED GND CTL AND WERE GIVEN INSTRUCTIONS TO TAXI FOR DEP. MODERATE TO HVY PRECIPITATION HAD JUST FINISHED FALLING AND I OBSERVED THAT THE VISIBILITY WAS COMING DOWN. I HAD THE RECOGNITION LIGHTS AND NOSE LIGHT ILLUMINATED. AFTER CLRING OUR TAXI PATH VERBALLY WITH THE FO WE MADE A L TURN TOWARDS TXWY AND A R TURN ONTO TXWY. WHILE ON TXWY; I NOTICED AN ARPT BUS RAPIDLY APCHING FROM MY L ON A SVC ROAD THAT CROSSED TXWY. I LATER ESTIMATED THE BUS TO BE TRAVELING AT APPROX 30 MPH. I HAD TO MAKE AN EMER STOP OF THE ACFT TO AVOID BEING HIT BY THE BUS. IT APPEARED THAT THE BUS DID NOT EVEN SWERVE TO AVOID HITTING OUR ACFT. I IMMEDIATELY PARKED THE BRAKES AND TOLD GND OF THE SITUATION AND THAT WE NEEDED TO REMAIN IN POS TO ASSESS THE FLT ATTENDANTS' CONDITION. I CONTACTED THE A FLT ATTENDANT AND ASKED IF THEY WERE ALL RIGHT OR NEEDED ANY MEDICAL ASSISTANCE. THEY ASSURED ME THAT THEY WERE AND WOULD CONTINUE WITH THE FLT. THEY ALSO STATED THAT THERE WERE NO PAX INJURIES. WHILE ENRTE I RECEIVED A CALL FROM THE A FLT ATTENDANT THAT THE B FLT ATTENDANT WAS NOT FEELING WELL FROM HER FALL. AT THIS TIME I DECIDED TO ASK CENTER TO CALL AHEAD FOR A MEDICAL PERSONNEL TO MEET THE ACFT. I HAD CTR DO THIS SINCE WE WERE OUTSIDE OF RADIO RANGE FOR THE DEST COMPANY FREQ. I FOUND OUT LATER THAT CTR UNDERSTOOD THAT I HAD DECLARED AN EMER; WHICH I DID NOT NOR DID I ASK FOR PRIORITY HANDLING. AFTER BLOCKING IN; MEDICAL PERSONNEL MET THE ACFT AND REMOVED THE B FLT ATTENDANT FROM THE PLANE VIA AN AISLE CHAIR FROM WHICH SHE WAS XFERRED TO A STRETCHER. I ACCOMPANIED THE B FLT ATTENDANT TO THE HOSPITAL WHERE SHE RECEIVED TREATMENT FOR BACK PAIN.
