FOLLOWING AN ACCUMULATION OF PREFLT ISSUES; CREW INTERACTIONS; ACFT HEAT AND LATE PUSH BACK; THE CAPT BEGAN TAXIING WITH THE TUG STILL CONNECTED.
Narrative
ON FLT XX WE STARTED TO TAXI WITH THE TUG STILL CONNECTED TO THE ACFT. THE CAPT ASKED FOR TAXI CLRNC WHILE I WAS FINISHING UP THE ENG START PROCESS. AFTER MY AFTER START FLOWS WERE COMPLETE; I CALLED RAMP FOR TAXI; AND THEN BEING AT THE S SPOT OF XA; SWITCHED TO GND FOR CLRNC. GND CLRED US TO TURN L ON X; HOLD SHORT OF XC FOR RERTE. UPON INITIAL PWR-UP; THERE WAS NO MOVEMENT. THE CAPT REMARKED THE WARM DAY REQUIRING MORE PWR. AFTER ADDING MORE PWR; THE RAMP CREW RAN OUT IN FRONT OF ACFT TO SIGNAL STOP. THE CAPT IMMEDIATELY RETARDED THE PWR AND STOPPED THE ACFT FROM MOVING. AFTER THE DISCONNECT FOLLOWED BY THE SALUTE AND RELEASE FROM GUIDANCE THE CAPT TAXIED OUT PER OUR INSTRUCTIONS. THE EVENTS LEADING UP TO THIS INCIDENT ARE WORTH NOTING: 1) LATE PAPERWORK IN OPS DUE TO COMPUTER PROBS. 2) LATE ARR AT ACFT DUE TO ABOVE REASON. 3) SENIOR FLT ATTENDANT STOPPED BOARDING DUE TO HOT ACFT. 4) RAMP QUESTIONING 'LATE' DURING PUSHBACK SEQUENCE RESULTING IN EXTENDED CONVERSATION ON RAMP FREQ BY BOTH FO AND CAPT. 5) TAXI CLRNC WITH A PENDING RERTE.
