Narrative
AFTER WE WERE CLRED FOR VISUAL RWY 23; ON DOWNWIND (PARTIALLY CONFIGURED FLAPS 20 DEGS); WE SELECTED GEAR DOWN; BUT NOTHING HAPPENED. ABOUT 10 SECONDS LATER WE RECEIVED 'GEAR DISAGREE' WARNING. TOLD TWR AND THEY HAD US DO A FLY-BY TO VERIFY GEAR WAS AN ISSUE. TWR VERIFIED WE HAD NO GEAR DOWN. FOLLOWED QRH; AT THAT POINT; WE DID RECEIVE A DOWN 3 GREEN INDICATION. I WANTED TO DO ANOTHER TWR FLY-BY TO VERIFY THE GEAR WAS DOWN. TWR THEN AGREED THEY DID SEE 3 GEAR DOWN. WE THEN PROCEEDED TO ENTER A L PATTERN FOR RWY 23 AND LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT OR WITHOUT DECLARING AN EMER. ALSO; UPON LNDG AS INDICATED BY QRH; WE DID LOSE NOSEWHEEL STEERING. I WAS ABLE TO EXIT THE HIGH-SPD AND USING BRAKING; MADE IT TO THE GATE WITHOUT ANY PROBS. WHEN WE DID THE FERRY FLT; WE WERE GIVEN A RAMP FUEL OF 11100 LBS. I HAD THEM PUT ON 11300 LBS. WE WERE SUPPOSED TO LAND WITH 5237 LBS FUEL. DURING FLT; I WAS KEEPING AN EYE ON THE FUEL AND NOTICED THAT WE WERE BURNING MUCH MORE THAN SCHEDULED! WE LANDED WITH ABOUT 3500 LBS AND I ADVISED DISPATCH. WE WERE RESTR TO 10000 LBS; 220 KTS AND NO ICING CONDITIONS. THE THING THAT BOTHERS ME WAS THAT DISPATCH HAD NO NUMBERS FOR FLYING AT THAT SPD; ALT. SO THEY HAD NO IDEA ON THE FUEL BURN AT THOSE CONDITIONS. I ADVISED THEM THAT WE WERE BURNING 3900 LBS PER HR AT 10000 LBS. I WENT TO DISPATCH AFTER FLT AND WHEN THEY ENTERED OUR CONDITIONS; (10000 LBS; 220 KTS); THE PROGRAM REJECTED THE INFO!
