Narrative

I WAS FLYING. DSNDING THROUGH FL245 TO 12000 FT AT 300 KIAS ASSIGNED; WE RECEIVED R FADEC MESSAGE; ALONG WITH R BLEED MESSAGE. COMPLIED WITH QRH. WHILE FO WAS RUNNING THE QRH; I DECLARED AN EMER WITH CTR. I TOLD FO TO SPEAK TO OUR FLT ATTENDANTS; BUT NOT TO THE PAX. WITH HIM BACK ON THE RADIO; I XFERRED CTLS TO MY FO AND CALLED FLT CTL TO ADVISE THEM THEN TOOK CTLS BACK. LEVEL AT 12000 FT; I NOTICED THE R ENG ITT HAD SPIKED UP TO 932 DEGS C. I CALLED FOR SINGLE ENG PROCS CHK. FO RAN THE CHKLIST AS WE WERE VECTORED FOR ILS XXR. STILL AT 12000 FT; I CALLED FOR DSCNT AND APCH ALL THE WAY. WITH THAT DONE; WE WERE CLRED FOR APCH. LANDED VISUALLY ON RWY XXR. FO CANCELED THE EMER AND WE TAXIED TO GATE. MAINT MET THE PLANE. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 803157: AT 12500 FT THE CAPT NOTICED THAT THE R ENG ITT WAS NOW AT 932 DEGS CELSIUS AND IN THE WARNING BAND. AT THIS TIME WE OPTED TO SECURE THE R ENG USING THE SINGLE ENG PROCS IN THE QRH. NEW LNDG LENGTH WAS CALCULATED AND WE CONTINUED FOR A RWY XXR APCH INTO RWY. HE THEN REALIZED THAT THERE WAS NO GS ACTIVE FOR THE RWY AND THERE WAS A LAYER OF CLOUDS BELOW US. WE QUICKLY CONVERTED THE APCH TO A LOC ONLY AND LANDED THE ACFT SUCCESSFULLY. MAINT SUSPECTED A PRESSURE SENSOR FAILURE IN THE R ENG CTL SYS.
