INBOUND WRITE-UP: LEADING EDGE SLAT DISAGREEMENT LIGHT AND EICAS WARNING WHEN FLAPS SELECTED DEGREE. ACTION: ACCOMPLISHED SYSTEM BITE AND RESET. LEADING EDGE SLAT AND FLAP SYSTEM GND OP CHK NORMAL WITH FLAP CYCLING SEVERAL TIMES FROM 0-30 DEGS. GET ADDITIONAL HELP WITH THE TROUBLESHOOTING OF THE PROB AND MORE TIME TO WORK TO WORK PROB. SHORTAGE OF MANPOWER; TROUBLESHOOTING ALONE. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: REPORTER STATED THE B757-200 PILOT'S INBOUND SQUAWK FOR THE LEADING EDGE DISAGREE LIGHT AND EICAS WARNING WHEN FLAP POSITIONS WERE SELECTED WERE THE ONLY DETAILS. HE IS AN AVIONICS MECHANIC AND FOLLOWED THE FAULT ISOLATION MANUAL (FIM) PROCEDURES; PERFORMED A BITE TEST ON THE FLAP SYSTEM BLACK BOXES; CYCLED THE LEADING AND TRAILING EDGE SLATS AND FLAPS SEVERAL TIMES WITHOUT ANY DISAGREE LIGHT OR OTHER EICAS WARNING. REPORTER STATED THE SAME DISAGREE WARNING APPEARED AGAIN; WHEN THE AIRCRAFT WAS ON APPROACH GOING INTO THE NEXT STATION. REPORTER STATED HE BELIEVES A MECHANIC AT THAT STATION FOUND ONE OF THE SLAT OR FLAP DRIVE LOAD RELIEF FUSES ON ONE OF THE UNITS HAD POPPED AND CAUSED THE SLAT DISAGREE LIGHT.
