An A320 suffered multiple LGCIU related gear unsafe warnings and executed two missed approaches before landing safely. During taxi-in they suffered the loss of nose wheel steering.

Narrative

My First Officer and I were assigned an all-night ID that had us deadhead to LCQ and then pick up a plane and fly it to ZZZ. The airplane had had landing gear maintenance performed on it while at LCQ. We initially had to divert due to weather where we landed without incident. After a short delay we proceeded once more to ZZZ. On approach to ZZZ after the landing gear was lowered we had LGCIU 1 indicate the right main landing gear was not down and locked. LGCIU 2 indicated the right main gear was in fact down and locked. We executed a go around and contacted Maintenance Control to confirm LGCIU 2 was providing a good down and locked indication. During our second landing attempt we received a landing gear not down and locked ECAM Warning at 750 feet AGL. Uncomfortable with this we executed another go around and confirmed with maintenance that this was; in fact; expected for our LGCIU 1 and LGCIU 2 indications. We then landed safely at ZZZ. During taxi in we lost nose wheel steering and had to be towed to the gate.
