Mechanic reports his Maintenance department received an engine inlet nacelle improperly shipped in a box from a Contract Composite Repair Station with QEC components still attached to reverser flexshafts that were bent out of position. The attached FAA-8130 Serviceable Parts Tag did not have any documentation as to condition of parts.

Mechanic reports his Maintenance department received an engine inlet nacelle improperly shipped in a box from a Contract Composite Repair Station with QEC components still attached to reverser flexshafts that were bent out of position. The attached FAA-8130 Serviceable Parts Tag did not have any documentation as to condition of parts.
Narrative
[We] received inlet from a Composite Repair Station after being sent out for repair. Quick Engine Change (QEC) components were sent with inlet for inspection/repair. Received QEC components in box still attached to each other by flexshafts bent out of position; in order to fit in box 12 x 12 x 40 inches. Flexshafts are to be in a straight; or 48 inch radius loop when stored. All QEC components in box were sent to Parts/Stores as unserviceable; due to improper storage. Inspected nacelle inlet and found Anti-Ice (A/I) valve installed and crossover duct installed on inlet with no documentation on FAA-8130 Parts Tag disposition report. Checked torque on V-band clamps for both components and found no torque on either. Removed duct and blanking plate and found two used seals installed (supposed to be installed with new seals). Found [insulation] blanket for A/I valve to be torn and one safety was not completed. Vendor has bad reputation for turning out poor quality of components they deem as serviceable. Avoid using this Composite Repair Station as an approved Vendor!
