A survey flight operated by the Tactical Aerial Group crashed in the Aurès Mountain Range, resulting in nine fatalities and three injuries.

What happened

During a mission conducted on behalf of the Tactical Aerial Group (GATAC), an aircraft crashed within the Aurès Mountain Range, located to the west of Chéla. The aircraft was engaged in a survey flight at the time of the accident. The operator of the flight was based out of Constantine.

As a result of the impact, there were nine fatalities and three injuries among the crew members on board. The personnel on the flight included pilots, navigators, radio operators, mechanics, and gunners.
