Accident

Following a night takeoff from Moroni-Hahaya Airport runway 02, the airplane climbed to an altitude of 500 feet. During the climb, the airplane entered a right turn and subsequently crashed on the slope of Mt Zembadjou, located about 8 km northeast of the airport. The aircraft burst into flames upon impact. All 18 occupants were killed.
