What happened
A twin engine airplane departed from Camiri, bound for Itaguazurenda, as part of a short-distance flight. On board the aircraft were four crew members and 18 passengers. During the transit between the two locations, the plane went down in a densely wooded and mountainous area situated approximately 50 km from the nearby settlements.
The wreckage of the aircraft was not located immediately; it remained undiscovered for two days following the disappearance. Upon recovery of the site, it was confirmed that the accident resulted in 19 fatalities and left three passengers injured.
