What happened

During a nighttime approach to Boufarik Air Force Base, an aircraft impacted the side of a mountain situated near Col des Deux Bassins. The impact occurred approximately 38 km southeast of the airfield. At the time of the accident, the area was experiencing unfavorable weather conditions. The collision resulted in the total destruction of the airframe and caused 11 fatalities among the occupants.
