During this maneuver, the aircraft type struck a concrete wall, resulting in a crash and subsequent fire. The wreckage was located in Élancourt, situated approximately 17 km west of the original destination at Vélizy-Villacoublay AFB. The impact resulted in four fatalities among the crew members, with no survivors reported.
