What happened
On the date of the incident, an aircraft experienced a mid-air explosion while operating in the airspace east of Rio de Janeiro. Following the detonation, the plane descended rapidly and impacted the ground in the vicinity of Niterói.
There were seven fatalities recorded as a result of the crash, with no survivors reported among the occupants. The event occurred during the in-flight phase of the mission.
