On March 26, 2009, at approximately 03:55 local time, a Boeing 727, registration HK4407, was performing an approach to runway 13 at Eldorado airport (SKBO) in Bogota, Colombia. During the approach, the aircraft struck trees. The crew subsequently executed a missed approach and completed the flight by landing without further incident.

There were no injuries resulting from the event. The aircraft sustained damage to the left main gear and the left flap.
