What happened
On November 25, 2009, a Cessna A-188B, registration HC-CEU, crashed in the Los Rios Province of Ecuador. The aircraft, which was operated by Russagrif, had departed from an unpaved area near Quevedo, Ecuador, and was en route to a destination from that same location.
Immediately after takeoff, the aircraft experienced a loss of engine power, causing it to impact the terrain. The pilot sustained one serious injury, and the aircraft was destroyed by substantial damage.
